Mobile Adoptions
Mobile adoptions are the front lines of NAC! A mobile adoption is an event, usually held on the weekend, at a local pet store. Several foster animals are brought to the location and NAC volunteers are ready to introduce them to everyone! With any luck, several animals will find their forever homes at these events each weekend.
Mobile adoptions are an integral part of getting our animals good homes. We get to meet all kinds of people and talk about animals and NAC - what could be better? What other job can you have where you wear the hat of an educator, advisor, and adoption counselor all at once? People love meeting the rescue animals and love to hear their stories. Sometimes just hearing that story is what starts the human/animal bond that makes a lifetime friend.
It’s a great feeling to know that you’ve helped get an animal off the streets and into a safe, loving and lifelong home.
