Fundraising
FUNdraising is more like Event Planning. We have a multitude of events throughout the year that are have so many purposes. While most of the time, the main purpose is to raise funds for the animals, sometimes it’s just to raise awareness. In 2005, over 10,000 animals were euthanized due to lack of space! We want to do our part to stop the mindset that euthanasia is an acceptable form of population control. To do this, we provide a low-cost spay and neuter program and endless education to the community. How is this all tied in with fundraising?
The people involved in fundraising are the ones that are out there in the community, spending time in the blue NAC booth talking to anyone and everyone about how they can make a difference! They are also the ones that plan our major events and make sure that everything runs smoothly.
