Adoptable Cats

The following are a few of the cats that we currently have in foster care. Many of them have been with us for a long time due to special needs. Why is foster care better than a shelter environment? Each foster parent gets to know the cat better and learn their behaviors. This enables each of our cats to get individualized care and attention, as well as helps to ensure a successful adoption.  Can’t find the pet you are looking for? See a more complete list of our animals HERE or call 208-429-6600.

Each of our cats have an adoption fee of $50.00. All of them are either spayed/neutered or we will include one in their adoption packet. They are also current on vaccines.

Adorable FIV Kittens The Gangs All Here

Starting from the right, read about these adorable kittens.

Dora is truly the explorer of the lot. From the moment she has been able to move about that is all she has done! If you are sitting on the floor with her she will climb in your lap to attack your pants and has been known to climb up into my hair! She is curious about everything!

Myra loves to explore but is just as happy tumbling around with her siblings. She does like to lay in wait to pounce on one of her unsuspecting victims! She even attacks the door if she hears something on the other side!

Timmy is the shy one of the lot. It does take him a while to warm up but if you were the only boy you would probably be pretty shy too! He has been known to take refuge in my lap or under my leg when the playing gets rough, but I am sure this too will pass. He is getting more rambunctious as all kittens do!

Sally is a quiet adventurer and a little camera shy. She will slink around the room inspecting things. She does love her food, if there is food around you know where to find her and she is the smallest kitten in the lot! She can also be very playful romping around with her siblings!

Bentley Bentley

Bentley is a fierce, snarley fiend who will bite your face off. Okay, he’s really not that bad. Actually, he’s a great, big, lovable cat who nips once in awhile. He is up for adoption & is looking for a cat person who doesn’t mind being herded toward the food bowl, mauled with affection, & yes, occasionally nipped. He got into the habit of nipping perhaps some time after being declawed, but before being dumped at a vet’s office in a cardboard box. Once he trusts you, the nipping is predictable and manageable. (He sounds worse than he is, but his new family should be informed.) He gets along with some cats, though he likes to be top-dog cat, and he probably would get on well with a dog, too - he just needs to have his own space. Bentley is looking for a place to belong & some buddies to hang out with. Maybe your office needs a guard cat? If your heart has room for this great kid, please call 365-0942 or 365-8476.

Snuffy Snuffy

Snuffy is approximately 4-5 years old, male neutered black tabby. His previous owner surrendered him because they said they had allergies, but right before going back up for adoption we noticed he had a severe urinary infection. He is healthy and now ready for adoption but will need to remain on a prescription diet for the remainder of his life. He is an Indoor only cat please. He is a little shy at first but very sweet and affectionate. His previous owners said that he did well with other cats and dogs. During his time in foster care he has only been around little critters (Rats, a guinea pig, and a chinchilla) He has been very respectful and never bothered them. His current foster parent would love to keep him but the resident (female) cat wants to be the only feline in the house. If you are interested in finding out more or adopting Snuffy please call Lisa at 724- 2266 or Teri at PetSmart 323-0385

Our Mission...

...is to provide a no-kill animal sanctuary, education, spay and neuter services, and adoptions.

Our Vision...

...is that every animal is treated responsibly with compassion and respect, and that society no longer accepts euthanasia as a form of population control.

We believe our Vision can be realized when the mindset that companion animals are disposable changes, people make informed decisions when committing to a pet and large-scale spay and neuter programs are in place.
